About The Event:
INTI Foundation in collaboration with INTI College Malaysia organized the 2nd INTI Educational Basketball Camp 2003 that took place the 17th - 19th December 2003 at INTI College Malaysia, Bandar Baru Nilai. This was a three-day, two-night basketball training camp that drew youths from as far as Perak and Johor Bharu with the aim of enhancing the youth's basketball skills.

In essence the camp's objectives were:
1. To enhance school extra-curricular program.
2. To develop youth basketball skill.
3. To introduce them in a college education environment.

Dr. Lee Fah Onn, Senior Vice President of INTI College Malaysia officially launched the camp. A total of 62 participants from Negeri Sembilan, Selangor, Perak, Johor Baru and Kuala Lumpur participated in this year's camp.

The camp participants drew a significant amount of satisfaction from the exemplary guidance of the Bukit Jalil Sports School coaches under the leadership of Mr. Sue Teck Hua, a former Malaysian National Basketball Coach in 1997 SEA Games. Mr Sue gave the young lads a good exposure to important basketball basic techniques as well as allowing them show-off their talents in game scrimmages.

The participants were also treated to incisive motivational and leadership talk by Dr. Sia Ah Hiok, Director of Students Services Division, hands-on learning computer simulations by our experienced computer and IT Lecturers, as well as an English session by Dr. Lim Ho Peng, Associate Vice President of INTI College Malaysia & Dean of School of Language and Liberal Arts. Dr. Lim shared some of his experiences on the importance of English with the participants.

Mr. Mah Ann Ann, member of the Seremban Town Council, who laid emphasis on the importance of sports in grooming young people, officially closed the camp.
