About
the Event:
This conference, which was held on 29-30 October, 2001 at Mines Beach
Resort & Spa, KL, was held in conjunction with the 15th Anniversary
Celebration of the INTI Group of Colleges. It was aimed at providing
a holistic view of e-Education, and focused on the management of information
and communication technologies in e-Education, with especial emphasis
on quality and effective learning. The setting provided a glimpse
of the diverse culture and warm hospitality of Malaysia. Also, this
two-day international conference provided a forum for bringing together
educators, researchers, technologists and the implementers of e-Education,
and provided a platform for interaction and sharing, involving experts
from countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia,
New Zealand, China, and South East Asia. The conference was officiated
by YB Datuk Amar Leo Morggie, Minister of Energy, Communications &
Multimedia, Malaysia.
