About the Event:

The workshop was held on 14th August 2004, from 9am to 5pm at INTI College Malaysia and open for the school teachers, public and private sectors as well as government officers in nearby Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Johor, and Kelantan regions. It was officiated by Puan Zainab Hashim, General Manager of Marketing for TM NET Sdn. Bhd. on behalf of their CEO Dato Baharum Salleh. Also represent from INTI Foundation, Dr. Chia Swee Ping, Dr. Saw Sor Heoh, Dr. Wu Ming Chu, and other management staff attended to the opening ceremony. Total number of 145 participants attended the workshop.

The key objective of the workshop is aligned with the government's efforts in promoting ICT knowledge nationwide. Its aim is to bridge the digital gap between the urban and rural communities by bringing the nation up-to-speed with the latest ICT know-how.

The ICT Workshop consists of 5 types of workshops with 3 sessions each that cover a wide range of ICT-relates topics. Participation fee of the workshop is RM 50 per person including workshop materials, CD, lunch, refreshment, and a certificate. Participants will only allow to choose one workshop as per listed below: On top of that, free accommodation for a two-night stay is arranged upon request.
