About
The Event:
INTI Foundation in collaboration with INTI College Malaysia was organized
the inaugural INTI Educational Leadership Training Camp 2003 slated
for the 18th - 20th November 2003 at INTI College Malaysia, Bandar
Baru Nilai. This was a three-day, two-night leadership training camp,
drawing youths across the country and aimed at enhancing leadership
skills in areas of creativity and holistic education.
The objectives of this camp are as below:
1. To enhance school extra-curricular program.
2. To develop student Leadership.
3. To build student organization, systematic management & professionalism.
Mr. Tan Yew Sing, the President of INTI International Group of Colleges;
who is also the Board of Trustee, INTI Foundation had officially launched
the camp. A total of 53 participants from Negeri Sembilan, Selangor,
Melaka, Terrengganu, Kelantan, Perak, Kedah and Kuala Lumpur participated
in this camp.
The camp programme aimed at instilling leadership qualities and skills
in students via motivational and leadership talks, hands-on learning
experience, games, IT lessons and English lesions. Dr. Lim Ho Peng,
who is the Associate Vice President of INTI College Malaysia &
Dean of School of Language and Liberal Arts, had shared his experience
of learning English with the participants. Besides, he also developed
the skills of learning good English with participants.
YB Liow Tiong Lai, who is the Member of Parliament Malaysia (Bentong)
spent his precious time with the participants to share the knowledge
and experience in 'Enhancing the Creativity in Leadership'.
After his talk, he had officially ended the camp.
