About The Event:
INTI Foundation sponsored RM 15,000 to K.A.W.A.N for the 4-day motivational workshop, which included a personal computer for SMK Seri Pekan. Bearing the theme 'Pelajar Cemerlang, Keluarga Gemilang' the event was held from 10 to 13 September 2003 at Pekan, Pahang. The workshop also consisted of two motivational workshop sessions for students and parents conducted by Dr. Mohd Muslim b. Mohd Yusoff, a member of INTI College Board of Academic Advisors.

Ministry of Defence Malaysia, YB Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak who is also the MP for Pekan, Pahang launched the ITLAS software at SMK Seri Pekan, which marked the first for a secondary school to use this eLearning system developed by INTI College. The software was contributed to the smart school by INTI College Malaysia.

ITLAS, an acronym for Interactive Teaching and Learning Aid System is an integrated eLearning software platform for course or lesson delivery that supplements the normal face-to-face teaching-learning mode. With ITLAS, the school will now be in the forefront in harnessing information, communication and technology (ICT) to further boost its education system capacity, capability and efficiency through Internet and Intranet, while appreciating the essence of education in this exciting time of eLearning.
