Synopsis:
The High Tech High Touch forum by world-renowned futurist, Mr. John
Naisbitt was held at the Putra World Trade Centre on Monday, 14th
March, 2000 from 7-11 pm. Chairman of the INTI Foundation, TM Tengku
Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Ahmad Rithaudden Bin Tengku Ismail began with a
welcome address after which YB Datuk Amar Leo Moggie, Minister of
Energy and Communications and Multimedia officially launched INTI
Foundation and delivered a speech.
In his keynote speech, Mr. Naisbitt pointed out that technology has
a rebound and his advice was that society should be conscious of their
relationship with technology. He also stressed the instilling of more
'touch' to new products and concluded that the balance between high
tech and high touch is a new paradox.
