About The Event:
This national TESL Seminar, which was held on 7th September, 2002 from 8:30 am to 6 pm at INTI College Malaysia, Bandar Baru Nilai, was aimed to discuss probable teacher and learner problems in the teaching of English as a Second Language; to discuss various instructional strategies for integrating language skills in the classroom; to expose teachers to new research in the field; to discuss the incorporation of technology in the teaching of English as a Second Language.

Dr. Lim Ho Peng, the chairman of the organizing committee as well as the Dean of School of Languages and Liberal Arts delivered the opening speech. There were two plenary sessions and 13 workshops conducted. The 135 participants were mainly the secondary schools teachers.
