The Effectiveness of using Multimedia technologies in learning Computer Programming The objective of this research is study the impact of using multimedia technologies to teach programming. A multimedia application using Opus software is created for teaching Visual Basic programming. The application is developed based on a set of visual basic notes. Students will go through the notes on Visual basic and take a test. The same group of students will later go through the multimedia application and take a similar test. T-Test will be used to compare the mean score of students before and after they have studied the programming using the multimedia application. This study aims to show that multimedia tools can significantly improve students’ understanding of programming concepts.
