Intelligent Course Management System (ICMS) This research investigated the effects of applying intelligent agent techniques to a course management system (CMS) for online learning environment. The agent (e-agents) created for the research were intelligent software agent that automated the repetitive tasks of human facilitators such as sending reminders before the due date and notify those students who are not active in the forum. In addition, e-agent implemented a learning-support tool that reminded learners about deadlines. The support e-agent was found to be effective autonomous motivators.
